Based in Chicago and working remotely, I specialize in QuickBooks Online and serve small businesses in construction, trades, real estate, and consulting.
Accounting Setup
Are you a new business and want to make sure you start out on the right foot? Our accounting setup is for you. We will set up your QuickBooks Online account complete with bank integration, customized chart of accounts and branded invoicing. After the setup we will have a half hour meeting to go over everything done. At that point you can move into one of our monthly bookkeeping packages or if you’re looking to take on your own bookkeeping, we offer 2 hour training sessions broken up over two weeks.

Accounting Cleanup
This is our specialty! Are your books in need of a clean up? It may sound weird but we love a good puzzle. If you need help untangling your books (maybe your business and personal finances became intertwined) we are here to help you find calm in the chaos. After a discovery call, we would request Accountant access to your QuickBooks account to perform a diagnostic review. After the review we would meet and present you with a course of action as well as an estimate for the work. At Compass Rose Accounting, we believe in full transparency and no surprise billing.
Monthly Bookkeeping & Payroll

With monthly bookkeeping packages from Compass Rose Accounting, you'll always know where your business stands. After a discovery call, I'll present three customized package options based on your business size, transaction volume, and the level of support you need. There's no surprise billing — just a clear, flat rate for work you've agreed to in advance.
Every monthly package includes accurate, up-to-date books in QuickBooks Online, a dedicated client portal for sharing documents, and regular financial reports you can actually understand.
Payroll processing through Gusto is available as an add-on if you need it — or as part of a package if you'd rather have everything in one place.
